hide and seek
So Ferdinand has been found! and lost again, and found again, about 14 times in the past two days. the lil jerk! hes currently lost but sure to be hiding someplace inconspicuous near his food bowl. You would think a huge bird with a bright blue head would be easy to spot, no? There will soon be a more permanent home built for him, but Katherine is trying to figure out where she would like for him to be. Shes also getting some peahens. that are sure to escape 4 times a day as well.. Lord love us.
I think Ella is feeling better? Katherine says that you arent supposed to talk to dogs unless your commanding them.
Today while i was at work i was standing around the host desk, and i looked, and there were all these letters from Jackie Onassis Kennedy to my big boss (matildas mom) Dana. Apparently she used to stay at the Red Horse all the time and loved it! How stinkin cool! I love Jackie O!
Oh! Sidebar: i rented ‘Away We Go’ and watched it last night- it was a little strange at some parts, but the the story of it, the theme is so good. I plan on posting about it soon.

Thank goodness the peacock was found! While I don’t like them, I certainly didn’t want it to end badly for Ferdinand. For any peacock lovers who read this – I really do like to LOOK at them, they are amazing to look at! Jackie O!!!!! Wow!!!! She was such an icon. I talk to my dog all the time. That’s one of the main reasons I have him. He talks back too…sometimes not in a good way as he is rather sassy. I am trying to do some training too but it takes a lot of time and patience. I read that some dogs will learn a command very quickly and other times it can take showing and telling them over a hundred times to learn something. You’re a ‘cowgirl’! Yay! Post pictures! WTF…don’t talk to the dog? I have this post in my head about my dog Tipper, I haven’t posted it because it’ll take some time and thought and tears. Anyhow, I vented to Tipper, joked with Tipper, asked her questions, had freakin’ conversations with her. AND Tipper was a great dog! She knew the difference between a command and BS. *sigh* Anyhow, I read that celebs are known to frequent the RFI. I’m sure you’ll let us know when you spot one? Should we watch Away We Go? I love you!
i liked away we go. dom and i saw it. i liked how uncool and normal they were, it seems there is always something quirky and cool with couples in rom coms (zooey deschanel anyone?) anyway, i know people could see it as pretentious, but i liked it.

Baha – Mom! (sars your xanga has become my go to for daily laughing fits) I agree – Ella is used to being spoken to, you are used to speaking to dogs and Katherine is not her owner! Pfft! I think you’re right. Lets try these experiments on katherine instead – keep her out of the circle and try not talking to her for a while and see how she likes it!
Glad Ferdinand is not missing, just aloof! He’ll come around once he gets settled.
Cant believe about Jackie O! Thats so cool! And.. didnt i tell you that Away We Go was one of my favorite movies of the year? I know i did, i knew you would love it.
